There should be a stiff penalty for this one!


A ghoulish thief burglarized a Foxhurst funeral parlor, authorities said.


The crook slipped through the back door of the Herbert T. McCall Funeral Home on Prospect Avenue near East 165th Street on at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 10 and ransacked several offices, cops said.


Surveillance video captured the burglar stalking the halls of the mortuary, flashlight in hand, before hauling out a television set, police said.




A swindler siphoned more than $ 3,000 from a Morris Heights woman’s checking account, according to police.


The victim called authorities after she noticed three unauthorized withdrawals from her account totaling $ 3,081.99 made on July 11, cops said.


Police said the fraudster deposited phony checks and made the withdrawals at three Chase branches around Manhattan.


The suspect is described as 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds.


Manhattan


An inebriated woman was burned to the tune of $ 25,000 after sharing a cab with a stranger in Hell’s Kitchen, sources said.


The victim hopped into the yellow taxi last Friday at about 3:30 a.m. and shared the ride with a stranger, who got out on Ninth Avenue near West 37th Street with the sauced woman’s $ 25,000 Hermès satchel, sources said.




A sleazy yellow cabby took advantage of a rider who passed out drunk and vomited in his car in Chelsea, sources said.


The driver picked up a 24-year-old woman at Avenue Nightclub on 10th Avenue at about 3 a.m. Sept. 16, and she blacked out, sources said.


The Bronx woman began throwing up when she awoke and found the sick hack with his hands beneath her clothing, sources said.


“F–k you! Get out of my car, bitch,” the cabby allegedly hissed.


The victim had only a vague description of the cabby and no arrests have been made.


The woman did not suffer any serious injuries, sources added.




A woman ran up nearly $ 14,000 in charges at a Meatpacking District hot spot and didn’t have any cash or credit to cover the bill, sources said.


Elizabeth Belka, 25, racked up a $ 13,718.25 tab at 1Oak on West 17th Street on Sept. 17 and when it came time to pay up, she didn’t have the means, the sources added.


She was cuffed and charged with grand larceny and failure to pay services, according to a state Supreme Court database.


She immediately obtained a lawyer and refused to discuss the accusations with police, the sources said.




A woman was groped on a subway train in the West Village, sources said.


The 24-year-old victim got on an E train at 14th Street at about 9:10 a.m. Sept. 14, and another straphanger shoved his body against hers, grabbed her breast and buttocks and tried to kiss her, sources said.


“I want you,” the creep allegedly said.


The woman got off the train at the next station and immediately reported the incident to police.


The suspect is about 5-foot-8, with blue eyes and short brown hair.


Queens


A woman snapped a photo of a pervert who sexually assaulted her in the elevator of her Corona building, cops said.


The sicko trailed the 30-year-old victim into the elevator last Thursday at 1:30 p.m. and forced his body against hers, police said.


The quick-thinking woman pulled out her cellphone and captured this image of the creep, cops said.


She was not injured.


Staten Island


A 20-year-old man was clinging to life after a gunman blasted him in the head outside a Dongan Hills housing complex, authorities said Tuesday.


The shooter opened fire outside the Berry Houses on Jefferson Street near Seaver Avenue at 8:45 p.m. Monday, police said.


The victim was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital North, where he was in critical condition.


Investigators did not immediately identify a suspect or motive in the shooting.
