Police shoot and kill a man in Brooklyn who they say stabbed and killed another man.
Police say they responded to an assault with a knife in an apartment in Midwood, and when they arrived found one man stabbing another man. They say the man did not respond to commands to drop the knife.
Police say they then shot the stabber.
They also say the stabber was in a relationship with a woman who was present, who also suffered stab wounds.
They say there were two children in the apartment who are uninjured.
