An FDNY EMS Captain has been arrested on Staten Island for allegedly performing sex acts with children in California.
The Los Angeles Police Department says 51-year-old Wilbert Riera was arrested by the FBI Friday.
Law enforcement sources say he was then turned over to the NYPD for booking.
The LAPD says the incidents happened in West Hollywood.
The Fire Department says Riera is a 21-year-veteran. He has reportedly received three awards for saving lives.
He’s been suspended 30 days without pay, which is the longest allowable by law.
