A 33-year-old man is dead after an early-morning hit-and-run in Chelsea.
Police say was Doohee Cho was crossing Fifth Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets near his home around 3 a.m. when he was hit by a white, two-door sedan.
They say the driver then fled the scene.
Officers say they found Cho lying in the street with severe head injuries. He was later pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.
An investigation is underway.
