100% Metro-North by Monday… They hope

The utility powered up a new substation Friday that has officials hopeful Metro-North will be able to run a full schedule during the Monday rush.




Metro-North Railroad hopes to have full service restored on the New Haven line Monday, but more tests need to be conducted over the weekend before officials will make that call.


Service has been limited since a Con Edison feeder cable failed Sept. 25 in Mount Vernon.
