Former pop princess Britney Spears’ awkward-looking ab’ wasn’t the talked of her first show in her two-year Las Vegas run, it was her onstage lip-syncing.
Oops, she did it again.
Britney Spears has been busted lip-syncing her way through her much-hyped Vegas residency.

Confidenti@l revealed in September that the pop star was planning on lip-syncing during her two-year “Britney: Piece of Me” shows, a claim her management denied at the time.

Spears, 32, began her Planet Hollywood residency Friday night to a full house at the Axis Theater in Sin City, but fans were left disappointed.

“The singer appeared to be lip-syncing for the majority of her performance,” reported the Los Angeles Times. “That went for high-energy dance numbers such as ‘Womanizer’ as well as slower-paced ballads like ‘Perfume,’ for which Spears took a seat onstage.”
Spears is being paid in the ballpark of $ 15 million a year for a total of 96 concerts, and sources tell Confidenti@l ticket sales have been “disastrous.”

Fans took to Twitter to vent their annoyance at having forked out hundreds of dollars for the show.
“Britney Spears may be the only ‘live’ performer with the chutzpah to lip sync to a song where she used AutoTune,” tweeted Mike Prevatt.

The ‘Femme Fatale’ singer’s latest album, ‘Britney Jean,’ had the lowest opening sales of her 15-year career.
We’re told the people behind the show are now concerned about ticket sales for the rest of Spears’ stint.
‘What everyone here is worried about is, once fans wake up to the fact they are being cheated, they won’t come to the show,” said a source. “People are going to start asking, ‘Why am I paying all this money to see Britney lip-sync?’ No one likes being exploited.”
This is just the latest body blow for Spears’ shaky career.
Her latest album, “Britney Jean,” was released in November and opened with the lowest sales of the singer’s 15-year career.
Spears’ rep, Jeff Raymond from Rogers and Cowan, who previously denied Spears would be lip-syncing and claimed Confidenti@l’s original story had “zero truth,” said on Sunday night: “Britney is killing it in Vegas, and Caesars execs are ecstatic with the launch. The show is a major commercial success. End of story.”
