The two bandits thought they were slick — breaking into a bodega and crawling on their hands and knees to stay below the counter so no one outside the store would see them.

But the store’s security camera was playing the entire time — and filmed clear footage of one of their mugs.

The humorous security footage was filmed during a break-in on Sept. 9 at Lizmelis Grocery in Woodhaven, Queens, police said Friday.

The duo, who are found on wearing hoodies when they are out on the prowl, are suspected in a string of at least nine commercial burglaries in Queens, according to the NYPD.

Their late-night burglary spree began on Aug. 8, when they broke into the Stop 1 Grocery in Jamaica and took an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Cops said the successful caper fueled their desire for more.

In addition to the Sept. 9 break-in in Woodhaven, the pair are being sought for the following burglaries:

n At Jamao Coffee Shop 7 on Liberty Ave. in Jamaica on Aug. 19; $ 30 was taken from the register.

n A break-in on Aug. 30 at a Kew Gardens restaurant on Jamaica Ave., where they removed more than $ 4,000 in scratch-off lottery tickets and cash from both the register and the ATM machine.

n An Aug. 31 break in at the Richmond Hill Deli on Jamaica Ave. in Kew Gardens. Money, a case of beer, 12 boxes of cigarettes, and a case of Red Bull were among the items reported stolen, officials said.

n The two allegedly broke into Darbar’s Chicken & Ribs on Liberty Ave. in Ozone Park at 11 p.m. on Sept. 10, taking $ 1,400 in cash.

n About a half hour after the Darbar break-in, the two thieves were hungry for more and forced their way into El Cran Canario Restaurant on Jamaica Ave. in Kew Gardens, where they took $ 500 from the register, $ 1,000 from an ATM, as well as two video cameras.

n On Nov. 2, the men entered East Town in Ridgewood, taking $ 100 from the register and an undisclosed amount of cash from the ATM.

n Police say the two broke into a Dunkin Donuts in Flushing on Nov. 26 and took an undisclosed amount of money.

Cops are asking anyone with information regarding these two men to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
