Police say five people were hospitalized early Saturday morning, three of them in critical condition, after the car they were in plunged into a creek in Astoria, Queens.

The car’s five occupants were pulled from the vehicle by rescue crews after the car plunged into the water near 37th Street and 19th Avenue late Sunday night.

Four of the victims were in cardiac arrest after being pulled from the water. One of the victims was a minor, according to reports.

Sources said the driver was in stable condition following the accident.

Divers continued to search the water for more victims until they were satisfied that all the vehicle’s occupants were accounted for.
