Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing of 18-Year-Old in Brooklyn

An 18-year-old was stabbed to death in Brooklyn Tuesday.

Police say the teen was stabbed in the chest and taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Neighbors say the victim had a girlfriend and a child.

“He’s a calm person. He doesn’t seem to be an angry person or disruptive or nothing. He’s a really kind boy,” said one neighbor.

“He’s always been so friendly,” said another. “He’s such a humble person, and when he got his kid, all he focused on was school and work, school and work. We would speak about his schedule, and it was just, he would work, he would go to school in the mornings, he would go straight to work, he would come out late and come straight home to sleep.”

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit http://ift.tt/17IHIZe.
