There are many other ways to make a dramatic entrance.

An 84-year-old woman crashed her car through the front door of a Florida CVS on Wednesday, narrowly missing an 80-year-old customer.

Harrowing surveillance video shows driver Margaret Underwood putting the pedal to the metal while attempting to re-park before the Winter Haven store on Wednesday.

Police say Underwood was trying to re-park after backing into another car in the parking lot when for an unknown reason, she gunned it.

Her 2008 Chevy Impala skyrocketed straight into the store, blowing through the glass doors and right at 80-year-old Adrienne Watkins who is seen picking through a front counter’s shelf.

Police believe that if Watkins didn’t retrace her steps, just moments before, the likelihood that she’d have escaped the potentially deadly path would have been slim to none.

Underwood’s vehicle is instead seen breezing right past her, however, knocking Watkins to the floor.

She was taken to Winter Haven Hospital where she was treated for cuts and bruises.

“As the video shows, had Watkins not backed up when she did, the vehicle would have hit her and her injuries could have been much more severe,” police stated with the video’s release.

A store employee seen jumping to Watkins’ aid told police that when he approached Underwood’s car — buried approximately 25 feet inside the store — its engine was revving at a high RPM and its wheels still spinning.
