Six people were injured, including a 3-year-old who suffered smoke inhalation, in a three-alarm fire in the Norwood section of the Bronx Wednesday morning, according to the FDNY.
Flames ripped through three buildings on Decatur Avenue in Norwood shortly after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. The FDNY says the fire was under control about two hours later.
The above cell phone video shows the flames burning. The fire started in one building on Decatur Avenue and spread to two others.
The Fire Department tweeted a photo of the back of the buildings.
Investigators say three people were forced to jump out the window, and that neighbors got everyone out of the buildings before firefighters arrived.
NY1 has a crew at the scene and will bring you more information when it becomes available.
