Some items connected to the 2011 operation that killed Osama bin Laden are now on display at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
The uniform shirt seen above was worn by the now-retired Navy SEAL who led Seal Team Six during the raid on bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan.
Officials with the museum said it’s an important piece of history that they are obligated to show.
Also on display will be a brick from bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad and a coin given to the CIA officer who helped locate him.
The officer, simply known as “Maya,” was the inspiration for the main character in the 2012 blockbuster “Zero Dark Thirty.”
