Stolen Car Found With Sleeping Child Inside

A mother and her two year-year-old child are reunited in Queens.

The child disappeared after the car she was sleeping in was stolen.

The NYPD says the car was taken near the corner of 108th street and 49th avenue in Corona shortly after midnight this morning.

Police say the mother left the car running outside a bodega with the child inside.

The New York Post says she was buying diapers.

Officers found the car about 2 hours later, just a few blocks away at 98th street and Corona Avenue.

Police say the toddler was unharmed.

There is no word on any suspects.
