Man Sought in Connection With Deadly Manhattan Stabbing

Police are looking for a man in connection with a deadly stabbing in Manhattan.

They’re trying to track down 56-year-old Carlos Molina, seen above.

They say he got in to an argument with 36-year-old Gerardo Madera while standing in line outside the Harlem East Life Plan methadone clinic around 5:45 a.m. Friday on Second Avenue.

Madera was stabbed in the torso and pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.

A 48-year-old woman who tried to intervene in fight was stabbed in the wrist.

“Harlem East Life Plan has been here for a long, long time,” said one person in the neighborhood. “I mean, I’m a participant in the program. They helped me. I do what I have to do. I do mental health services, the clinic, and everything. But an incident like this has not occurred as long as I’ve been here.”

Molina is described as about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds.

He has a tattoo design around his neck and a tattoo of a female on his arm.
