It took nearly a decade, but the Metropolitan Transportation Authority is set to open its all new Fulton Center transit hub to commuters.
Officials held a ceremonial opening for the center this afternoon.
Straphangers will have their chance to check out the transit center starting 5 a.m. tomorrow.
The center will provide a new seamless transfer station for 9 subway lines.
The MTA says it plans to expand access in the future—connecting two more subway lines, as well as adding access to the PATH.
