Police have put out surveillance photos of two men wanted for a brazen daytime robbery at a Midtown jewelry store Tuesday.
Investigators say the men seen here hit the Watch Standard Jewelry Store on the 8th floor of a building on West 47th Street around 2:30 p.m.
They say one of the men posed as a delivery man to get buzzed into the store while a second man served as a lookout.
Once inside, the first robber pulled out a gun and demanded the items inside an open safe.
He also hit a worker in the head with the gun, then fled the scene with his accomplice.
The robbery drew a massive response from police, including emergency services and counterterrorism units.
According to published reports, the thieves got away with about $ 2 million in jewelery and cash.
