Dr. Craig Spencer is free of the ebola virus and will be released from Bellevue Hospital Tuesday morning, according to the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.

“Dr. Spencer poses no public health risk and will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow,” reads a release from HHC.

Spencer was rushed to the hospital on October 23 after reporting a fever.

He had recently returned from Guinea where he was helping fight the outbreak.

Spencer was treated in isolation for 19 days.

Health officials and Mayor Bill de Blasio will hold a press conference to discuss the discharge on Tuesday morning.
