On the eve of Veterans Day, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced a new resource to help veterans find temporary employment.
The Veterans Temporary Hiring Program allows veterans to upload their resumes.
State agencies can then contact them about employment positions.
The program is only open to veterans with a Department of Defense form which indicates active duty or active military service.
Veterans must have been released from service after September 11th, 2001 and cannot have been dishonorably discharged.
