A Queens man is facing murder charges after police say he stabbed his girlfriend to death in their apartment.
Police say they found 68-year-old Josephine Mendoza with multiple stab wounds on her body just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday in a Queens apartment building.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Naser Alzein, 51, is now charged with second degree murder and criminal possession of weapon.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
