Sian Green, 23, whose foot was severed by an out-of-control taxi cab last month, has now left Bellevue Hospital.




The British tourist whose foot was severed by an out-of-control taxi cab last month is now out of the hospital.


Sian Green, 23, was discharged from Bellevue Hospital late Thursday and plans to return to her native England in the coming days, WABC reported.

Green told the Daily News earlier this week that physical therapists were “teaching me to walk again.”

Green’s visit to New York became a nightmare Aug. 20 when a dispute between a cabbie and cyclist led the driver, Faysal Himon, to plow into her as she strolled Sixth Ave.


The courageous woman from Leicester told the network she couldn’t wait to get home.

“I’m really homesick. I’ve been homesick for weeks. So I want to get back to my friends, my family, and get my life back,” Green said.
