A day after a horse went haywire in midtown, the horse calmly chomped on carrots provided by the Daily News.
Chris, the erratic equine who flipped over his carriage and driver-in-tow while trotting up Eighth Ave. near W. 57th St. on Thursday, seemed to be in good spirits and health when a reporter paid him a visit Friday.

Just a small cut was visible on his right front leg as he took a day of rest in his second-floor pen at Clinton Park Stables on W. 52nd St. after the wild ride.
