A Long Island man who helped his father fake his own death in an insurance scam was arrested Thursday after failing to show up for a scheduled court appearance.
Jonathan Roth, 23, was tracked down in Ohio by a bail bondsman after being a no-show at Nassau County court last Friday.
Roth was expected to avoid jail time in a plea deal that included him cooperating with prosecutors in the case against his father, Raymond Roth.
He also had several warrants pending for unrelated harassment charges involving his girlfriend, court records show.
The elder Roth, 48, faked his own drowning off Jones Beach in 2012.
He was also busted for allegedly impersonating a police officer while trying to lure women into his van in March.
