Skateboarder Alexander Ciszewski died after being rushed to Elmhurst Hospital.
A teenage skateboarder was killed Thursday as he tried to hitch a ride on the side of a truck in Queens, officials said.
Alexander Ciszewski, 18, was hanging onto the side of a 2005 box truck as it rolled along 47th Ave. near 32nd Place in Sunnyside at noon when he fell under the rear wheels, police sources said.

Ciszewski, who lived just a few blocks away, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.
The truck kept going, officials said. The driver remained at large Thursday, but police sources said it’s possible that he didn’t know he hit anyone.
