Brooklyn Jeweler Shot During Attempted Robbery, Police Say


Police are looking for three suspects after the owner of a Brooklyn jewelry store was shot in the leg Monday morning during an apparent robbery attempt.


According to police, the incident happened around 11 a.m at a store near the corner of 48th Street and 5th Avenue in Sunset Park.


The owner of the store was wounded.


Witnesses say they saw three men fleeing the scene.
