A ceremony will be held in Lower Manhattan Wednesday morning to remember the victims of the September 11th attacks 12 years ago.
The event will begin with a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m., the time when the first plane struck the North Tower.
Family members of victims of the 2001 and 1993 attacks will then read the names of those who died.
Moments of silence will also be observed at the time when the second plane hit the South Tower, and at the times each tower fell.
Programming note: NY1 will have live coverage of the ceremony beginning around 8:30 a.m.
