A woman’s dead body was found riddled with bullets in a Brownsville apartment Wednesday evening, cops say.
According to authorities, Sellis Gonzales, 46, was “shot multiple times throughout her body” and was left to die inside the 530 Chauncy Street apartment.
She was initially transported to Brookdale Hospital around 8:30 p.m. in traumatic cardiac and respiratory arrest, but was pronounced dead while en route to the hospital.
An investigation is ongoing, police say.
