A man escapes out the first floor window as a fireball explodes above him at a 4-alarm blaze on Valentine Avenue. It took 168 of New York’s Bravest to put out the fire.
A raging fire that ripped through three homes in the Bronx on Sunday injured 13 firefighters and three residents, officials said.
The blaze broke out around 5 p.m. at a two-story home on Valentine Ave. in the Norwood section, according to the fire department.

The out-of-control fire quickly jumped to four alarms as 168 smoke-eaters struggled to put the blaze out.
It took more than two hours before the fire – which spread to three homes next door – was out.
The firefighters and residents were all treated at local hospitals for minor injuries, said an FDNY representative.
