Police continue to investigate the home of Qiao Zhen Li, who was killed along with her four children by her husband’s cousin, who has not been identified.

A 25-year-old transient is accused of going on a bloody rampage in Brooklyn and killing his cousin’s wife and four children with a meat cleaver, a police source said.

The man, whose name has not been released, was enraged because the woman was trying to kick him out of the family’s Sunset Park apartment, family members said.

Killed in the attack were Qiao Zhen Li, 37, and her children; Linda Zhuo, 9, Amy Zhuo, 7, Kevin Zhuo, 5, and William Zhuo, 1, cops said.

The father of the children was not at the apartment on 57th St. near Ninth Ave. when the mayhem broke out Saturday night.

According to a source, Li’s husband’s cousin had been out of work before coming to live with the family in New York.

A source said the suspect was “bouncing around” and had only been staying with the family for about a week. His last known address was in Chicago.

Xiaowe Yang, 31, said she spoke to a cousin of Li, who told her the woman was trying to kick her husband’s cousin out of the house.

“She told him to go home,” Yang said. “The guy is very poor. He had no home. He had no place to live when he came to New York. She told him, ‘You just leave my house.’”

Li’s children ranged in age from from 1 to 9 years old. Her husband was not home at the time of the murders.

“He lived with them. He’s crazy,” Gao Yun, 29, who identified herself as a cousin, said through a translator. “He came here illegally from China. He was living with them. He’s not stable.”

Yun said the man had a job at a restaurant out of state about two weeks ago until he was fired.

“I think he was cooking,” she said. “He is crazy.”

Neighbor Amy Chang, 15, said she heard the sirens Saturday night and ran out to see first responders trying to save the little boy.

“He was wearing yellow pajamas,” she said. “He was bloody. They were trying to help him. But he wasn’t moving. He had bandages on his legs … To kill a kid, it’s the worst.”
