A Tennessee man was arrested Saturday at John F. Kennedy International Airport after Port Authority police say they discovered several firearms in his checked luggage, including one that was loaded.
Keenan Draughon, 23, is accused of illegally traveling with two handguns and two rifles.
Both of the rifles had their serial numbers defaced.
Police say they found the weapons during a routine pre-flight check-in Saturday morning.
They say he was also carrying two high-capacity magazines, which are illegal in New York.
He’s being held on multiple charges, including four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
